Sehwag's dismissal was cheered by the crowd only because it brought local lad Tendulkar out to bat. And true to form, Tendulkar made the most of his tenure at the crease that evening, studding a 35 with some delicious boundaries that brought the crowd on its feet. Dravid and Tendulkar took India through to the close of play at 278 for two, promising many more runs for the fans on the second day.

What was the turning point of the first day's play?
Bangar not being given out
Sehwag's century
Dillon's twin strikes
