2nd ODI: India v West Indies at Nagpur

Possibly Dravid felt slighted by Ganguly’s bewildering decision to send Harbhajan Singh in at No 5. On Saturday, the Indian vice- captain was a man on a mission. He dispatched the first ball he faced for four, before settling down to play a few more sizzling strokes on his way to a 50 off just 39 balls. He finally fell when he attempted a hurried second that would have got Laxman to his hundred. Laxman (99) too was dismissed soon after, as the Indian innings lost its way in the end overs. The hosts eventually ended with 279-9, after their 47 overs.
