Chanderpaul's hundred was also his first on foreign soil. The jubilant left-hander did little to repress his emotions on reaching the landmark, even kneeling down and kissing the wicket. After ending the day unbeaten on 136, he summed up his feelings in the end-of-the-day press conference, saying, "I'm very happy to get a hundred here. It's my best century so far simply by virtue of being the only one I've hit away from home."
