The other rescue artiste for Zimbabwe was Grant Flower. In the absence of elder brother Andy, the Zimbabwean batting revolved around Grant and he took up the cudgels for his team in spirited fashion. The firm of Flower and Wishart added 126 for the fourth wicket and Flower cut loose in the latter part of his knock after losing his partner. The trademark reverse sweep, pictured here off Carl Hooper, was exhibited as also two flicks off Dillon that disappeared over midwicket for sixes. Flower advanced to 94 before he was caught inside the long on boundary in the 47th over.
