Zaheer Khan accounted for the wicket of Nagamootoo (17), brilliantly caught and bowled. Nagamootoo and Jacobs added 37 runs for the seventh wicket to take the Windies score past 150. Zaheer bowled with lot of fire on a pitch that did not offer good bounce and pace. He finished with the figures of 10-2-27-2, while Mohanty had the bowling analysis of 10-3-18-8. The Indian seam bowlers had given a very good account of themselves and it augurs well for Indian cricket that their second string medium-pacers are on their toes.
