Andy Blignaut (11) struck a couple of boundaries before Agarkar got
better of him. It was an inspiring piece of batting by Whittall that
took Zimbabwe to 235/6 in 50 overs. Whittall played some cracking
drives and pulls to make 58 runs off just 55 balls with the help of
seven boundaries. Zimbabwe took 14 runs off the final over bowled by
Ajit Agarkar. Zaheer Khan was the pick of the bowling with the figures
of 10-0-42-4.
