There was early joy for the Indians in the Lankan run chase. Kaluwitharana
(0) and Atapattu (1) departed in quick succession and Sri Lanka were in
trouble at 7/2. The Indian total proved to be sufficiently large and the
Lankans were under pressure from very early on. Wickets fell at regular
intervals till Jayawardene and Arnold attempted a recovery.
