(Willowmoore Park, Benoni 2nd ODI - 07 Oct 2001)
With little fuss or flurry, Jacques Kallis (54) and Neil McKenzie put together an 89-run third-wicket partnership to take South Africa to 140 in the 30th over. Kallis made 54 off 80 balls with six boundaries and fell to the Otienos, caught by David off Collins. McKenzie ended not out on 49 (72 balls, 7 fours), denied his half-century by another leg break that beat the wicketkeeper and scurried away for two byes to end the game. Jonty Rhodes remained unbeaten on six as the South Africans went past Kenya's total in 33.4 overs. South Africa has won both their matches and has also taken the extra bonus point for the emphatic win against Kenya, reigning at the top of the table.
