Rules
Each innings shall consist of 90 overs of 6 balls each and
the match shall be of one innings only.
In an uninterrupted match, the team bowling first shall complete
the number of overs on the first day itself hailing which they will
bat for the same number of overs. In the event of the first team being
all out/declaration within the stipulated time the penalty clause will
not be applicable. Otherwise the penalty clause will be applicable for
both the innings.
In case of delayed start, or suspension during the innings of the
team batting first, the number of overs to be bowled shall be based on
the basis of full 4 minutes per over in the time remaining for play on
both the days. In such case, a fixed time for completion of the revised
number of overs shall be fixed and the innings will terminate at the rescheduled
time (the over in progress shall be completed even if a wicket falls). In case
the team bowling first fails to bowl the revised number of overs within the
stipulated time, they will bat for the same number of overs. If the team is
all out/declaration within the stipulated time, the penalty clause will not
be applicable. Otherwise the penalty clause will applicable for both the
innings.
In case of delayed start/suspension during the innings of the team batting
second, there shall be no recalculation of overs and the match shall continue
as soon as the conditions are fit for play. If a result could not be achieved,
the match shall be treated as a Draw. In such case, the penalty clause
for slow overrate shall not be applicable.
If due to weather and ground conditions, play could not take place on the
first day, the rules pertaining for one day game as specified by the BCCI shall
be applicable. However the rule regarding inner/outer circle shall not be
applicable and the target score rule will be as per NORM method.
The teams are entitled to claim the second new ball on completion of 50
overs on matting pitches and 80 overs on turf pitches.
A result can be achieved only if both teams have batted atlas 40 overs,
unless one team has been all out in less than 40 overs or unless the team
batting second scores enough runs to win in less than 40 overs. In the matches
in which both teams have had the opportunity of batting for 90 overs each in
an uninterrupted match, or a lesser number of overs in an interrupted match,
the team scoring the higher number of runs shall be the winner.
The umpires shall decide whether or not to impose the penalty based on the
facts before them.
The penalty for slow over rate will be twice the run rate multiplied by the
number of overs bowled short.
The allowances viz. 2 minutes per wicket, 4 minutes for drinks time permitted
under BCCI Rules will not be applicable.
The following brands of cricket balls only should be used for all matches in
A Division (2 day/1 day game) SONEX, SG TEST, SG TOURNAMENT, WINSUREX or SAMRAT.
The cricket balls will be provided by HCA for all clubs for all matches
(1 day/2 day game). It is clarified that in the event of the balls being lost or
damaged due to wear and tear etc., teams will have to replace balls on their
account. The HCA will supply only one ball to each team of all clubs
per match.

each such walk over or conceding the match from the total number of points secured
by it. The team getting the walk-over or getting the match conceded in its favor
