Prize Money Sixes award: 1000 pounds to be shared equally by each six hit - S.E.Leary of Kent hit the most sixes (17) - there were 438 in all. Bowling award: 1000 pounds to be shared equally by each four wickets in an innings performance - ten bowlers achieved the feat twice - there were 58 in all. H.Pilling of Lancashire was awarded 100 pounds for being the first player to reach 1000 runs in the competition. R.A.Woolmer of Kent was awarded 100 pounds for being the first player to reach 50 wickets in the competition. Each County also received 3000 pounds for taking part.
