Otago get home with three balls to spare in League game
Lynn McConnell - 6 January 2002
Otago nearly paid the price for their slow over rate in their State League match with Central Districts at Logan Park in Dunedin today.
They lost an over after CD scored 159/9 in their 50 overs. Nicole Thessman scored 53 not out for CD while Rachel Pullar took two for 18 to be the best of the Otago bowlers.
Otago got home with three balls of the 49th over, their last, to spare. Pullar rounded out a good day by scoring 73 while Sarah Helmore scored 30.
Otago host Wellington tomorrow and Tuesday in their games.
