Umpiring panels announced for new season

New Zealand umpiring panels for the 2000/01 cricket season have been released by National Umpiring Manager Brian Aldridge.
The international panel published earlier this week on CricInfo was (in alphabetical order): Brent Bowden, Doug Cowie, Steve Dunne, Tony Hill, David Quested, Evan Watkin.
They will be joined on the 'A' panel for domestic cricket by: Robert Anderson, Gary Baxter, Barry Frost and Bill Sommer.
Making the reserve panel are (listed in associations):
Auckland (Kevin Manley, Mel Spencer-Smith);
Northern Districts (Malcolm McLean, Ian Shine, Peter Wright);
Central Districts (Peter Garland, Mike George, Craig Morris);
Wellington (Dave Ellwood, Rob Kinsey);
Canterbury (Jeremy Busby, Peter Williams);
Otago (Ross Murdoch, Graeme Stewart, Graham Wilkinson).
New members on the reserve panel are: Dave Ellwood, Rob Kinsey and Graham Wilkinson.
