THE BUTANI CUP

This unique and majestic cup was created by Butani Jewellery and took one month to design and fifteen craftsman three months to create. Valued at more than HK$300,000, it weighs 15kgs and is hand sculpted out of pure silver and dipped in solid 24k gold. The batsman at the top of the trophy is shown to be hitting six cricket balls studded with 60 carats of rubies and 12 carats of diamonds representing the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes. The helmets at the base of the trophy are made out of gold and enamel and represent the national colors of all the cricket-playing nations.
