Ball-by-Ball Commentary

Match State: Match start scheduled for 9am local time (3.30am GMT)

Hello and Welcome to Cricinfo's live coverage of the 4th ODI
        between India and Sri Lanka.
Let me give you the important news first, Indian captain Rahul
Dravid has won the toss and elected to bowl first.
At the moment India lead the series 3-0, with four more matches to
go they need just one more win to clinch this series.
It's a crunch match as far as Sri Lanka are concerned, nothing less
than a win will do for them.
Poona has traditionally been a win-the-toss-and-field venue even
though it's a good batting track.
It's a rejuvenated Indian team with three convincing wins under
their belt, they are firing in all the departments of the game and
It's it going to take a special effort from the Lankans to
        register a win here today.
India have made just the one change to the team that played the
previous match, Murali Kartik is out and in comes S Santh - Suresh
        Raina is the SuperSub.
Lankans have decided to play four seamers today - Upul Tharanga
comes in replacing Jayawardene who has returned home for his
wedding - Samaraweera is the SuperSub.
Sangakkara and Jayasuriya are out there in the middle and it's
going to be Irfan Pathan to start the bowling attack
0.1 Pathan to Sangakkara, two runs, short of a good length delivery,
Sangakkara moves across a bit and works it away nicely to the
        vacant midwicket region
0.2 Pathan to Sangakkara, no run, good length delivery outside the off
stump, bit of movement away from the left-hander, Sangakkara
watchfully leaves it for the keeper
0.3 Pathan to Sangakkara, no run, another good length delivery outside
the off stump, hint of away movement and Sangakkara shoulders arms
0.4 Pathan to Sangakkara, no run, once again Pathan getting the ball to
move away from the left-hander this time he gets some exaggerated
movement off the track but it's too wide outside the off stump to
        make Sangakkara play at it.
0.5 Pathan to Sangakkara, FOUR, shot! Pathan strays on to middle and
leg and Sangakkara flicks it away to the backward square leg fence
        - lovely shot and that's the first boundary of the innings
0.6 Pathan to Sangakkara, no run

Atapattu - ' We thought we put up a good score, but again things
are not going too good for us here, they ended up finishing the
game pretty well - things are not going well for us at the moment'
        - 'last two games have been good for us - hopefully we will keep
improving - it was a good batting pitch and no complaints about
        the pitch'.
Dravid - `We have seen the future of India batting - I played a
poor shot to get out - it looked a close game but the partnership
from the guys who have hardly played ten games saw us home and it
        was brilliant stuff'
'Just the way we played as a team is one of the positives that has
come out of this tournament - last four games we played as a team
        and everybody has contributed.'
Agarkar gets the Man of the Match for his 5 wicket haul - ' Ball
did a bit in the morning and I got two of their best batsmen out
and there was reverse swing later on'
        - 'My actions is holding up pretty well, right now i am getting
good swing with the new ball and it's working well for me'
And that brings us to the end of another fascinating day's cricket
        - probably the closest among all the games - we hope you have
        enjoyed the coverage
Until next time this is Sajan Nair signing off.
