Hello and welcome to Cricinfo's live coverage of the ODI series
between India and Sri Lanka.
From Mohali now we move to Jaipur for the third match of the series
and Sawai Mansingh Stadium will play host to this crunch game.
At this stage India lead the 7 match series 2-0 and Sri Lanka will
be under tremendous pressure to perform well today.
A win here today will leave India needing just one more victory
from the next four matches to clinch the series and Sri Lanka will
have to win the next four matches to do so.
The stage is nicely set-up and we are in for a thriller - that's
for sure.
Lankans will be low on confidence after the two humiliating losses
that they sustained in the first two matches and the fans will be
hoping for a much better performance today from the number two
ranked side.
News from the middle is that the Sri Lankan captain Marvan Atapattu
has won the toss and elected to bat first.
Sri Lanka have made one change to the team that played in the
second match - Nuwan Zoysa is out and in comes Thilan Samaraweera.
India go in with the same eleven, Suresh Raina is the SuperSub for
today's match.
It looks like a decent batting track but there are few cracks here
and there and they could come in to play as the day progresses.
It's certainly a 'win the toss and bat first' track, now it's up to
batsmen to put up a defendable total.
Kumar Sangakkara and Sanath Jayasuriya will open the innings and it
will be Irfan Pathan to start the bowling attack.

Agarkar started off well picking up Jayasuriya early and when
Atapattu was dismissed for 17 it looked as if the Lankans were
heading for another collapse
but a 151 runs partnership for the third wicket between Sangakkara
and Jayawardene put Sri Lanka right back on track

Dhoni started off in smashing fashion and there was no looking
back, each and every bowler went for runs - a total of 11 sixes
and 24 boundaries were hit during the course of this amazing run
chase.

Marvan Atapattu - 'we had a good chance - these wickets are pretty
much flat but when somebody plays an innings like that it's out of
control - It's didn't matter whether we took the power play or not
- he is that kind of a player
we haven't won a single game but we hope that we will come back as

Dravid - 'Unbelievable stuff' - 'All of us here were privileged to
watch such an innings, fantastic knock - We went into the dressing
room and we believed we could get it
