This is the highest chase in ODI and New Zealand does it with 1
over to spare
20 runs were needed off the last 2 overs and New Zealand achieves
it in a single over from Lewis who was the hero in the last outing
Its hard to pick the man-of-match in this case given the invaluable
contributions from Styris,McCullum and Vettori.
Vettori bowled a very economical spell with 2 crucial
breakthroughs, a terrific catch and a great cameo at the end which
sealed the match.It was a great outing for the New Zealand
captain.
New Zealand finally break the jinx with no victories in the last 7
outings and could have taken the series had they won the 2nd game
which was just as exciting as this.
Styris was adjudged Man-of-Match.
