Match State: Innings Break

       Good Afternoon!
Welcome back to The AMP Oval in London for the third one-day
international match in the NatWest triangular series.
India have been set a modest target of 203 runs by Sri Lanka, India
are about to begin the run chase.
Sri Lanka have had a terrible English summer, losing the Test
series to England and then lost their first match in the
        triangular series, played against England.
They are without their star strike bowler Muttiah Muralitharan.
Sri Lanka have also suffered due to the lack of form of their two
key senior players - Sanath Jayasuriya with the bat and Chaminda
        Vaas with the ball.
Well, Sri Lanka will have to go for wickets here against a very
        strong Indian batting line-up.
The key is going to be Vaas, if only he can find that magic back,
he has been struggling to get the ball to swing back into the
        right handed batsman.
Dilhara Fernando too has a very important role to play. This
youngster has the pace to trouble the best of batsmen.
Fernando also gets the extra bounce, which could put someone like
        Ganguly in trouble.
It is going to be an uphill task for the Sri Lankans. India might
even be going for a win well within the 40 overs mark to gather
        the bonus point.
With the likes of Sehwag, Ganguly, Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh...
Quick runs are never going to be a problem.
It is going to be exciting cricket for sure, Sri Lanka won't play
defensive cricket and someone like Sehwag always goes for the
        shots.
We are all set for the start.
Ganguly is the man on strike, Vaas has the new ball with him, about
to bowl left-arm over the wicket.
0.1 Vaas to Ganguly, wide: no run, starts off with a wide down the leg
        side.
0.1 Vaas to Ganguly, FOUR, ooh! inside edge to a ball just outside the
off, does not miss the leg stump by much, rushes to the fine leg
        fence for four, lucky runs!
0.2 Vaas to Ganguly, no run, back of a length, outside the off, left
        alone to the keeper.
0.3 Vaas to Ganguly, one run, well up to the batsman, pushed wide of
        mid-on for a single.
0.4 Vaas to Sehwag, no run, short of a good length, angling away, gets
right behind the line, offers the full face of the bat in defence.
0.5 Vaas to Sehwag, no run, pitched just outside the line of leg, extra
bounce too, does well to keep it down.
0.6 Vaas to Sehwag, FOUR, what a shot! sheer timing in this one,
punched through, glorious extra cover drive for four, Sehwag is in
        awesome form!

       Arnold to bowl now.
45.1 Arnold to Agarkar, one run, played to mid-wicket, takes a single,
        scores are level
45.2 Arnold to Kaif, one run, slow turn, played behind square leg for a
single, India have won by four wickets!
This has been a very good weekend for the Indians - a victory over
England yesterday and today they humbled Sri Lanka
India lead the points table with eight points, England have four
points and Sri Lanka has not won anything this English summer
203 runs was indeed a very modest target to chase, Chaminda Vaas
gave Sri Lanka some hope by trapping Ganguly (7) lbw.
Sehwag played a couple of cracking shots and then in an effort to
hit the ball out of the ground, hit one straight to Jayasuriya at
mid-off. Sehwag could only make 12
Mongia and Tendulkar added 71 runs for the third wicket
partnership. Both the batsman hit a huge six each.
Mongia (33) was caught brilliantly by Vaas at fine leg, top edging
        a pull off Dilhara Fernando
Yesterday's hero Rahul Dravid came out - and found the going a bit
        tough.
Sri Lanka skipper Jayasuriya feels that it was their batting that
        let them down
Indian skipper Ganguly thinks it was a good job to win back-to-back
        and that they bowled well.
       Man of the Match:Ajit Agarkar
Going back to the India run chase, Dravid struggled to get things
going and was bowled off his pad, misreading the flight of
Chandana's leg break, he made just eight runs off 26 balls
India lost the valuable wicket of Tendulkar in the 33rd over,
caught behind by Kaluwitharana off Zoysa after making 49 runs.
At that point, the match looked a bit open, Sri Lanka still had a
        chance at that point.
Yuvraj Singh and Mod Kaif accumulated runs through some good
running between the wickets and some hooks and pulls, which went
        their way
Though India lost Yuvraj Singh - caught by substitute Silva off
Dilhara Fernando, India were almost there
It was a pleasure bringing the ball-by-ball coverage of this match.
Do join us for the next match in the triangular series, England
meet Sri Lanka at Headingley on Tuesday, July 2nd. Match will
        start at 09:45 Hrs GMT
       Thank you.
