Good afternoon from Eden Park, where the good news is that it's
fine and sunny, about 28 degrees, and all indications are that the
match will begin as sheduled.
Given the summer we have had in New Zealand thus far, this cannot
be taken for granted!
The pitch looks to be good, not a hint of green like we saw in the
tests. One would think that a fair few runs will be scored today.
Fleming has won the toss again for New Zealand, and chosen to bowl

Agarkar is 12th man for the Indians, Hitchcock for the kiwi's.
The crowd is filing in, Eden Park certainly not near full at the
moment however. People still getting over yesterday?

That ends an odd game, very low scores and all sorts of batting
trouble on a pitch that didn't seem to give undue assistance to
the bowlers
Both the Indian and NZ top order will have to take a good hard look
at themselves
However, nothing should be taken away from the bowling spells of
Oram 26-5, and Srinath 23-4, both off 10 overs
NZ looked in all sorts of trouble, but the guiding hand of Oram
once again saw them home. He will be getting used to the role.
