West Indies won the last two matches and that has turned what was
otherwise a dead series into an interesting one
and the West Indian fans will be hoping that their team will be
able to win todays encounter as well and make it 4-3.
Thanks to a brilliant innings from Wavell Hinds (125) and some
inspired bowling by Marlon Samuels and Chris Gayle, West Indies
won the last match by 3 wickets
Australia after a long time have lost two matches in a row, and
they will be keen to win this final encounter and stamp their
authority over this series

Lara started off the bowing attack with Samuels and Dillon and they
got rid of the openers
Ponting was hit on the hip by a short delivery and had to go off
the field soon after
then Darren Lehmann and Andy Symonds came together and put up a 107
run partnership for the third wicket and that brought Australia
back on track
Lara continued with his part time bowlers and it once again turned
out to be a good ploy
Lehmann (107) played a super innings and went on to make his fourth
ODI ton
and a late fiery innings from Brad Hogg (53 of 58 balls) took
Australia to a decent total (247)
Gayle bowled superbly and ended up with five wickets in ten overs,
his best figures in ODIs so far
Chris Gayle and Wavell Hinds opened the innings and they put up a
116 run partnership for the first wicket
Australia bowling lacked the pace and depth that we are so used to
seeing
Hinds went on to make his third ODI ton and Gayle finished off with
sixty runs from sixty eight balls
After Gayle was bowled by Symond in came Lara
He took the attack to the opposition and scored a brisk 75 from
just 65 balls
and to end it all he hit Lehmann for three consecutive sixes
