then the West Indians came back thanks to a bold decision by Lara
to bowl the off spinner Omari Banks earlier in the innings
at one point they were 79 for 3 and then Symonds (75) and Clarke
(75) put up a good partnership
and then a typical Bevan (32) innings saw to it that a decent score
was posted
West Indies needed 259 runs to win when they came out to bat
MaGrath struck in the 5th over, he got Devon Smith with a beauty
and things were going on smoothly until Chris Gayle decided to go
on the rampage
he cracked 43 runs from 46 balls, which included 5 fours and 1 six
Sarwan played a rash shot and Hauritz picked up his first wicket of
the day with the second ball of his first over
Gayle played one straight into the hands of the point fielder and
Lara soon followed him, chopping the ball on to the stumps
Bichel once again getting Lara's wicket
towards the end Powell came in and played a swift and powerfull
innings (26 of 11 balls)
which almost brought West Indies back into the game, Powell was
