glimmer of hope when there was a decent partnership between
Sinclair and Mc Millan
Pretty ordinary batting by NZ after they had done so well
restriciting Sri Lanka to a lowish score earlier
Tomorrow we shall ahve to see who get in to face Sri Lanka, when
New Zealand and Pakistan face off at 11:00GMT, essentiallya semi-
final!
The move to add spinners today did pay off for Sri Lanka and NZ
will need to do a lot more practice against spinners to do better
Today we did not see much pressure or frowns on the Lankan faces
all day, just goes to show how confident and professional team
they are
The umpiring did take some gloss off the victory but one cannot
complain because even the Elite umpires can have a bad day
