Each side consists of 8 players (Not less than six players),16 overs a side (6 ball overs), Each pair of 2 batsmen play 4 overs.
Each player must bowl 2 overs alternately. If he bowls continuously, award 5 runs penalty.
Run deduction for dismissal: 5 runs
Run deduction for misconduct: 5 runs
If a team is one or 2 players short, the opposite captain shall nominate a player to bat again or bowl again. If one player of the batting side is short, after 12 overs, nomination is made. If 2 short, nomination to be made after 12 overs.
If a fielding side is short of one player, nomination after 14 overs. If 2 short, nomination to be made after 12 overs.
No declaration is permitted in the tournament.
Equipment
Batsman must wear gloves in both hands.
Wicket keeper has option to wear none, one glove or 2 gloves. It may be wicket keepers or batting gloves.
Fielding
Wickets are pitched at distance of 20 meters.
Non stricker to run from midway
Court divided into 2 halves. Not more than 4 fielders in either half from the moment bowler starts his run up. If infringed, No ball penalty.
Encroachment into the fielders line and exclusion zone will be called as No balls.(exclusion zone is an are with 3 M radius from the batting crease).
Wicket keeper is optional.
Scoring of Runs Physical runs:
Both Batsmen cross and make good their ground one run is scored.
Bonus runs
Zone A : 0 run
Zone B : 1 run
Zone C : 2 runs
Zone D : 4 runs (6 runs on full pitch)
Zone B or C to D : 3 runs
Top net and to D full pitch : 6 runs
Penalty runs
No ball : 2 runs plus any physical and bonus runs (new signal for no ball)
Wide ball :2 runs plus any physical and bonus runs (new signal for no ball)
No balls and wide balls to count as part of overs except last over when it will be re bowled
Leg Bye: Balls deflected into scoring Zones off the batters person (eg Leg) where no contact has been made with the bat will not score bonus runs. Only physical runs to be scored. However no byes are allowed.
Dismissals
Third ball out: If the score remains unchainged after 2 deliveries, the umpire will call "third ball". Next ball the score must change or it will be treated as a dismissal
CAUGHT
If a ball coming from the strickers bat is caught before it touches the ground. A catch may be taken off all boundary netting except Zone D. This includes off netting from the top also it is out caught if it is from Zone B or C and to D and held before touching the ground. If the hit directly touches Zone D, then 6 runs are scored.
LBW
If the ball hits the strickers body and the striker has made NO attempt to hit the ball, he will adjudged LBW, if in the opinion of Umpire, the ball would have struck the stumps
