Nicholson with 3 wickets in as many overs first up this morning,
brought the Queensland innings to a close after the Bulls had
secured first innings points and added a lead of 58 run lead.
Since then it has been an uninspiring battle of strange field
placing's and disciplined bowling versus circumspect batting - as
both teams seem convinced of a drawn outcome to this match.
Stuart Law who declined to call a declaration overnight and then
seemed unwilling to call a halt at the 72nd over, signalled
negative tactics to the few people attending the match.
His lack of declaration may have cost Queensland a win and the
chance to keep Queensland at the top of the Pura Cup competition
table.
As it stands Queensland move down to second (10 points) behind New
