Not the most entertaining day of cricket, but also not without some
highlights
Jimmy Maher's 150 being the obvious highlight - a wonderfully
compiled knock which included some cracking shots, 14 shots to the
boundary and one shot over the boundary in all
The tired Maher getting out late in the day
Maher had great support for Love, who looked good for the most part
in compiling 76, however he seemed to get a bit careless late in
the day, and lost his wicket with a careless stroke
Cox was unfortunate to lose his wicket early in the day when the
ball was moving a bit
Whilst Martyn was out to a stupid shot from a very ordinary
delivery
Colin Stuart was the pick of the bowlers, getting through the
defence of three top-order batsmen, interestingly each time with
the first ball of an over
Australia 'A' are in a very strong position, with still plenty of
batting to come, we've seen Maher, Love and to a lesser extent
Martyn push their claims for Test selection, we await for Katich
and Hodge to do the same tomorrow
