Blair wishes Lankans a successful tour

The Prime Minister of Britain Tony Blair has wished Arjuna Ranatunga and Sri Lankan cricketers a successful tour. The letter from 10 Downing Street was received by Ivan Corea, Secretary of the UK Representative Committee of the 'BCCSL. The Prime Minister sent his good wishes for an enjoyable and successful tour of the UK to the World Champions.

The BCCSL UK Representative Committee are organising coaches for the Sri Lanka vs South Africa one day international at Trent Bridge Nottingham on Friday 14th August - this is the triangular tournament with Sri Lanka, England and South Africa. For an all inclusive Sterling Pounds 35 Sri Lankans travelling to London who wish to see the World Champions in action will be able to book a place on a coach as well as a guaranteed ticket to see the match. Cheques should be made payable to Asitha Jayaweera.
