T & T Under-19s seal third place

In the playoff match, T&T whipped the Leewards by 33 runs. Batting
first, the home team were paced by an excellent 82 from Imran Jan to
amass 192 for 9 in the allotted 50 overs. Jan hammered four fours and
one huge six off the bowling of Sylvester Joseph during his innings
and received good support from skipper Daren Ganga (42) and Zaheer Ali
(32).
Pacer Kerry Jeremy was the visitors best bowler with 3 for 41 while
Kevin Hanley and Joseph picked up 2 for 41 and two for 47
respectively.
When the Leewards replied, they could get no further than 149 for 7
when the overs ran out. Quason Alfred (46) and Omari Banks (37) were
the top scorers while not to be outdone by his brother, pacer Asif Jan
chipped in with 2 for 38.
