Bangladesh, the other team in the meet who seem to have lost any realistic hopes of playing the May 31 final after suffering a crushing five-wicket defeat to India, will be waiting on the sideline with optimism for the outcome of today's match. Bangladesh, whose neat run-rate is only minus 0.01, will want the hosts to beat the African nation by a huge margin so that in erodes their present run rate of minus 0.64.

Meanwhile, the makeshift Indian captain, Ajay Jadeja, expressed his total dissatisfaction on the way the Indian batting collapsed in their match against Bangladesh last Monday. In another development, Bangladesh coach Gordon Greenidge has made public his deep shock about Bangladesh's performance against India on Monday. ``When we left Dhaka our batting was our strongest point, but it is the bowling that has dominated here. We don't back ourselves in tight situations. Our boys didn't capitalise on the partnerships we got started, which made it extremely difficult for the batsmen coming in,'' said the dejected Bangladesh coach to an Indian daily.
