West Torrens conceded the game at the conclusion of day one as the only way they could progress to the was if they won outright by the conclusion of day two.

defeated Adelaide 155 (P.C. Nobes 38, K.S. Pickering four
for 79, T.G.B. Borlace three for 30).
Following the game former South Australian opening batsman
Paul Nobes announced his retirement.
