James (107) forged a 120 run opening stand with Hugh Morris (67) to help Glamorgan reach an impressive 269 8. Peter Moores gave Glamorgan hope with a battling 56 before being run out by a direct throw from Viv Richards as Sussex slumped to 219 all out. AXA Equity and Law League SOUTHAMPTON: Hants v Somerset Skipper Mark Nicholas top scored with an unbeaten 84 to steer Hampshire to a seven wicket triumph over Somerset with seven balls remaining at Southampton. Nicholas shared in an unbroken 169 run stand with Paul Terry to rescue Hants from defeat at 46 3. Openers Mark Lathwell and Nick Folland forged a 107 run partnership before Somerset lost all their wickets for 107 to reach 214 all out. |
