An unfinished 226 run third wicket partnership between Srikant
Kalyani and Saurav Ganguli put Bengal in a commanding position
against Tripura on the opening day of the Pepsi Ranji trophy
league match at the Eden Gardens here today.
Put in to bat the Bengal batsmen virtually made a mockery of the
Tripura bowling as they went on the rampage to score 329 for two
wickets at the close of play.
Srikant kalyani with 150 and Saurav Ganguli with 93 were at the
crease when play was stopped early due to bad light.
