Chidambaram: Bombay v Rest-of-India at Bombay, 7-10 Jan 1994, Scores

Rest of India v Bombay (U-19 Cooch-Behar Champs)
M.A.Chidambaram Trophy, Bombay 7-10 Jan 94

ROI won the match by 97 runs on the 4th and last day.

ROI 247 and 349 (Hrishikesh Kanitkar 112, V Lakshman 79, Milap
Mewada 49, A Sharma 33, Iqbal Siddiqui 25; Padbidri 15-2-53-1,
Morris 22-1-89-2, Yalvigi 36-15-63-2, D'Silva 11-2-24-0, Sane
43.2-14-102-3, Pawar 2-0-6-0, Muzumdar 2-1-1-0).

Bombay 170 and 329 (Amol Muzumdar 106, Kiran Pawar 98, Amol Rane
44, Tushar Shringare 27; Siddiqui 6-0-44-1, Vardhan 4-0-23-0, S
Sriram 30-2-110-1, Javed Alam 15-2-67-4, S Tiwana 8.5-0-39-1,
Amit Sharma 8-0-40-1).

Bombay were set 427 runs to win in a maximum of 81 overs on the
last morning, and were 254/2 at one stage, until a collapse set
in. The report described Muzumdar's knock as "composed", and
Pawar's as "sparkling". Pawar is a left-hander. Javed Alam is a
leg-spinner.
Kanitkar's knock for ROI spanned just over 5 hours. He is also a
left-hander, plays for Maharashtra (not sure if he's played Ranji
yet). Siddiqui is also from Maharashtra (I think), and seems to
have come in for some stick in this innings.
