Re: World Cricket for the Blind 2002- An Invitation

Dear Shaukat,

We are happy to inform you that the 2nd World Cup cricket for the blind will be played at Chennai from 3rd to 14the of December, 2002.

The tournament will be played on a league cum knock out basis. Matches will be of 40 overs a side. The semi finals will be played on the 12the and the finals will be played at the M A Chidambaram Stadium on 14th of December, 2002.

We are pleased to invite a Pakistan team of 21 comprising 17 players and 4 officials to participate in the World Cup.

You are required to send in the names of your players and officials along with their profiles and passport size photographs on or before the 15the of September, 2002.

Your team is expected to arrive in Chennai by the 1st of December. You are requested to arrange for your team's departure on the 15th of December.

We will as hosts be taking care of your team's accommodation, food and basic local transportation during the 1st - 15th December period.

Looking forward to the active participation of Pakistan team at the World Cup.
