The Indian vice-captain Rahul Dravid walked out with a clear game plan and he put it to use with great success. His unbeaten knock of 72 off just 64 balls won the match for India, their second consecutive triumph against Zimbabwe. Dravid smashed the bowling for seven boundaries to spread the field around. Dravid found the gaps in the field with ease as he went along picking 33 singles in his knock. The running between the wickets was of such high quality that the momentum was never lost. Dravid was named the Man of the Match for his match winning effort.
