In the second ODI of the triangular series Zimbabwe took on India at Harare Sports Club. India were set a target of 134 runs to win in 50 overs. Though they lost the wicket of Sourav Ganguly in the very first over, Sachin Tendulkar played a masterly knock, which earned him the Man of the Match. Tendulkar made an unbeaten 70 off 70 balls, punctuated with 13 boundaries. The chanceless innings made sure that India won handsomely by nine wickets.
