Kumble had now picked 13 wickets in two innings - six in the English second essay at Mohali and then seven in the first innings at Ahmedabad. Interestingly, Kumble had also dismissed Hussain three times out of three. On at least two of those occasions, Hussain was looking good to rip apart the Indian attack, making 85 and 50. The tweaker from Bangalore was effective in the second Ahmedabad innings too, picking up 3/118 to complete his 10-wicket haul. Flintoff also suddenly became a 'Jumbo' bunny, dismissed by Kumble in three innings out of three.
