Nasser Hussain, the skipper of the inexperienced England team, has a
lot of responsibilities and the whole team will be looking up to him
for inspirational performances. His task has been cut out - he will
have to lead from the front. Hussain, who was born in Chennai, will
also have to score heavily with the bat, if his team has to pull off a
miraculous win in the three-Test Series. Hussain has played in 63
Tests for England and has a modest Test average of 35.00. It is his
ability to use his feet against the spinners, which might give a few
headaches to the Indians. Hussain made a breezy 70 in the tour opener,
punishing the spinners for three sixes and seven boundaries. The
English skipper has immense ability to keep his young team motivated
and the visitors might need just that!
