VVS Laxman: Better known for his batting heroics in the Kolkata Test match against Australia where he scored 281 runs, the highest individual score by an Indian in Test match cricket. Laxman has been in and out of the national squad playing as a lower middle order batsman and as an opener. After his breathtaking performance in Kolkata, he has made the number three slot his own. Laxman is 26 years of age and has represented India in 22 Test matches scoring 1337 runs at an average of 37.13 runs per innings. All eyes will be on him in Zimbabwe.
