Nasser Hussain is not a Douglas Jardine or a David Gower. The English skipper realises that his chances of pulling off an upset win against the Indians in the Tests are slim. It is never a pleasing experience to face up against Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh on helpful home pitches. With many of his players making their first trip to India and still learning the art of playing spin, the brave English captain has to figure out a strategy to deny India a roaring glory. His never-say-die attitude and a good thinking head on his shoulders makes Hussain a very able leader indeed.
