After Stephen Fleming won the toss and elected to field, he probably would have fervently hoped that his bowlers would find a way to quickly get rid of his opposite number, Sanath Jayasuriya, a proven match-winner on any day. Unfortunately for Fleming and New Zealand, they had, though, to suffer the mortification of seeing the umpire rule in favour of the batsman.
