After electing to bat first against Australia, the home team got
off to a poor start at Bulawayo. Zimbabwe lost both their openers
to Jason Gillespie with just 28 runs on the board. Craig Wishart,
who incidentally hit the top score of this World Cup so far -
against Namibia, was one of Gillespie's victims today, bowled for
just ten. It was then left to the industrious Flower brothers to
save Zimbabwe. They batted very well against the Australian pace
attack and slowly got into a rhythm.
