CricInfo has linked with the Breast Cancer Care charity to run an online awareness campaign throughout the CricInfo Women's World Cup.

The campaign will run on the CricInfo official Women's World Cup website at wwc2000.cricinfo.com and include promotional banner adverts, integrated content and link-throughs to the Breast Cancer Care website, www.breastcancercare.org.uk. The campaign will feature the slogan, 'Stay fit, stay healthy, be aware'.

Christine Fogg, Chief Executive, Breast Cancer Care: "This is a great idea and an excellent opportunity for more people to know about the help the charity can offer. We have never linked with women's sports before and it is a great way for us to encourage active and healthy lifestyles for women."

CricInfo are pleased to be able to offer online exposure for Breast Cancer Care and increase awareness of breast cancer, whilst encouraging more women to take part in sport and active living. CricInfo are also discussing the possibility of continuing this partnership after the Women's World Cup on the CricInfo.com 'women's cricket' section, with online promotional concepts being considered for 2001.
