AV: Not long ago, you turned down an offer to coach Glamorgan. Was that a difficult decision to make? GC: I took some time in making the decision. I thought long and hard about it but at the end of the day being in the dressing room and coaching twelve months of the year was probably not as satisfying as some alternatives like the business venture I am a part of now with Griffith University. I made it clear that my decision to take up the coaching stint at Glamorgan would be based on whether the Griffith University venture took of or not. There was no way I could do justice to coaching both South Australia and Glamorgan. |
