South Africa, docked one over for slow over rate, began their run-chase needing to score 239 off 49 overs. They were on the back-foot rather early with the score reading 69-3 in the 17th over. But Jonty Rhodes and Boeta Dippenaar, with a mixture of sensible batting and electric running, brought the chase back on a track with a 117-run fourth wicket stand.
