Heros' welcome awaits Bangladeshi cricketers back home
DHAKA, June 2 (AFP) - Bangladesh's cricket squad will get a hero's welcome home after they inflicted an upset
defeat on Pakistan in the World Cup, officials said Wednesday.
On arrival Friday from England, they will be escorted straight to a reception at downtown Paltan Maidan to be
chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed, who has promised them hefty government rewards.
