1996 World Cup Profile:

Curtley Ambrose has for many years been the most feared fast bowler in the game. His ability to bowl very fast, whilst mainitaining control, as well as obtaining movement makes him a difficult proposition for any batsman. His height enables him to obtain bounce, and he can bowl fearsome short-pitched deliveries. Now over 30, his effectiveness has declined somewhat under the almost non-stop cricket for the West Indies, and Northhamptonshire in the County Champonship. however, when well rested he is stil capable of demolishing a batting side in short order, and at his best is almost impossible to score from.
