Somerset Under 19's prepare to take on Hampshire in the final today
Richard Walsh - 1 September 2002

The focus of attention for Somerset County Cricket Club will today switch to the Nevil Road Ground in Bristol where over the next couple of days the Cidermen's Under 19's will take on Hampshire in the final of the ECB two day competition.

Having comfortably disposed of Shropshire in the quarter finals at Shifnal followed by Essex at Uxbridge last week the Somerset young guns go into the match with an air of confidence.

The determination of the youngsters, and their coach Peter Robinson will no doubt be even stronger following the defeat of the senior side at Lord's yesterday.
