New Zealand Cricket names participants for One-Day International training camp New Zealand Cricket - 19 November 2002
A One-Day International training camp for 19 of New Zealand's elite one-day players is to be held at New Zealand Cricket's High Performance Centre from Wednesday, November 20 until Friday, November 22. TelstraClear Black Caps coach Denis Aberhart said the training camp was an opportunity to tailor individual programmes for the players and assess their fitness. "It will be the first time we have brought the players together since they returned from the ICC Champions Trophy in September," Aberhart said. "We have seven One-Day Internationals to play against India starting in just over a month and just over two months until we make our World Cup bid. "This opportunity has been created to allow us a chance to assess the fitness of individuals and arrange programs specifically tailored to one-day cricket." The participants are:
