Western Warriors team
Western Australia Cricket Association - 18 November 2002

The Western Australian Cricket Association today released teams for upcoming Pura Cup, ING and ACB Cup Second XI matches.

The Western Warriors will commence a four-day Pura Cup match against Queensland at the Gabba Ground in Brisbane on Sunday, November 24.

The team is: Michael Hussey (captain), Ryan Campbell (vice-captain), Jo Angel, Michael Clark, Murray Goodwin, Brad Hogg, Shaun Marsh, Matthew Nicholson, Marcus North, Chris Rogers, Brad Williams and Paul Wilson.

The Warriors will also play an ING limited-overs match against the Queensland Bulls, in Brisbane, on Friday November 29. This fixture is a day-night match.

All-rounder Kade Harvey will join the 12 players named for the Pura Cup game. A final 12 will be named on the day of the match.

Western Australia's selectors today also announced teams for two ACB Cup four-day games, against ACT in Canberra and Victoria in Melbourne.

The team is: Stuart Karppinen (captain), Geoff Cullen (vice-captain), Beau Casson, Andrew James, Brett Jones, Scott Meuleman, Luke Ronchi, Craig Simmons, Michael Thistle, Callum Thorp, Adam Voges and Peter Worthington.

Veteran seam bowler Sean Cary will replace Stuart Karppinen as captain for the second match in Melbourne, starting on December 2.
