Statement following a meeting between the Professional Cricketers' Association and Leicestershire CCC
Media Release - 11 November 2002

Tim Lamb, Chief Executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) earlier today hosted a meeting between Kevin Hill, General Manager, Leicestershire CCC, and David Graveney, Chief Executive, Professional Cricketers' Association, at the ECB offices, Lord's Cricket Ground. The meeting was held to discuss various issues raised recently by the PCA relating to the contractual position of a number of Leicestershire players.

Following the meeting, Kevin Hill said: "I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet David and discuss the various issues. It was a positive meeting and we look forward to a continued good relationship between Leicestershire CCC and the PCA and its members".

David Graveney said: "We had a full and open discussion and I think both the PCA and Leicestershire now have a much clearer understanding of each other's positions. We look forward to continuing the dialogue in the hope that all outstanding issues will be resolved as soon as possible".
