Qld lead by 96 after day two AAP - 9 November 2002
MELBOURNE, Nov 9 AAP - Queensland had an overall lead of 96 after day two of the Pura Cup cricket match against Victoria here today at the MCG. The Bulls were 4-73 at stumps in their second innings, with Martin Love 31 and Lee Carseldine yet to score. Earlier today they bowled out Victoria for 164 in reply to their 187 to take first-innings points, with paceman Michael Kasprowicz snaring 4-35. Matthew Elliott top-scored for Victoria with 63. Victorian paceman Mick Lewis was on a hat-trick late today, bowling opener Brendan Nash for 16 and then trapping Stuart Law lbw with the next ball. © 2002 AAP
